Find Inspiration in Food was originally set up in 2007 by Jayne Moreton (Mike’s Wife), solely selling at local Farmers Markets. In January 2014 Mike took over the business providing Luxury Homemade jams and preserves to a larger number of local businesses.

Mike bases his business around ‘Almost Zero Food Miles’ supporting the local community by using local seasoned produce to make his award winning jams and preserves.

Patchwork Pâté

Patchwork Pâté was established in 1982 by Margaret Carter, she started selling her homemade pate to local pubs. The business grew rapidly and in 1987 relocated to a purpose equipped factory where products are still handmade, using local ingredients where possible.

Patchwork Pâté now has a team of 30, where everyone is involved, from designing the packaging to developing their products.

Former police officer Neil Broomfield set up the Great North Pie Company in 2008 whilst still working for the police but left his job in 2011 to concentrate on his business selling multi award winning handcrafted pies.

 Our delivery of pies arrives on a Thursday so be sure to grab some before they all go during the weekend rush. We regularly have a 'Buy 3 deal' and all the pies come in fresh so can be frozen if you don’t think you can eat all 3 at once!

Coopers Gourmet Sausage Rolls

Shropshire chef Ivan Watkiss founded Coopers Gourmet Sausage Rolls in 2009. Using the finest local produce to create their sausage rolls, Coopers slogan ‘once tasted, never forgotten’ is this for a very good reason.

Our delivery from Coopers is on a Wednesday – usually in the afternoon. The sausage rolls can also be frozen so why not buy a couple of different flavours from the range we have on sale.

Port of Lancaster Smokehouse

Winners of many ‘Great Taste Awards’ the Port of Lancaster Smokehouse’ produce a tasty range of smoked fish and meats as well as potted Morecambe bay shrimps and marinated sardines. 

You can regularly find smoked salmon, trout, kippers and mackerel in our chiller along with smoked pancetta.  Many other smoked products are available to order.
